Ruben Aguilar and his brother Jacob are educators in the Los Angeles area. I've known both men for over twenty years. For a time, Ruben was part of our comedy group, The Subterranean Lounge Lizards. Later, Ruben and I founded The Mosaic Lizard Theater, which we ran together for over about a decade. Jacob and Ruben now have a podcast where they talk to different educators and review media pertaining to education. It was an honor to be able to go on their show and talk about writing and my novel.
